Akira Kawasaki is a member of the Executive Committee of the Tokyo-based NGO Peace Boat and co-chair of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). He is the project director for Peace Boat’s Hibakusha Project and Horizon 2012. An expert in nuclear disarmament, he served as an NGO advisor to the International Commission on Nuclear Non-proliferation and Disarmament (ICNND) in 2009-10.

Céline Nahory
Céline Nahory is international coordinator for Peace Boat and its Horizon 2012 Project. She has worked for 10 years with NGOs in the United States, Japan and India, carrying out research and running advocacy campaigns on issues of peace, security, disarmament, economic justice and sustainable development.
