Freddie Rokem is professor emeritus in the Department of Theater at Tel Aviv University
and is currently the Wiegeland Visiting Professor of Theater & Performance Studies
at the University of Chicago. His major books are Performing History: Theatrical
Representations of the Past in Contemporary Theatre (2000) and Philosophers and
Thespians: Thinking Performance (2010). The Oslo Diaries was screened at the 2018
Sundance Festival and won the Best Documentary Script Award at the recent Jerusalem
Film Festival.
