Paul Scham

Paul Scham is Associate Research Professor of Israel Studies at the University of Maryland. From 2011-21 he edited the Israel Studies Review, and has co-edited two books on Israeli and Palestinian historical narratives as well as Polarization and Consensus-Building in Israel (2023). His research interests have also included Hamas, Jordan, and the religious right in Israel.  He is president of Partners for Progressive Israel, an American NGO.
