Ruth Oron, an essayist and translator, was born in Israel in 1943, raised in Kibbutz Ramat Hashofet and served in the Israeli Army, 1963-1964. She began her study of Aesthetic Realism in 1977and currently attends classes taught by the Chairman of Education Ellen Reiss in New York With her Israeli colleagues she has co-authored articles, editorials, and letters about peace in the Middle East.
