Dr. Ahmed Soboh was born in Jenin and is a medical doctor by education. He is director general of the Yasser Arafat Foundation and a member of the Fateh Revolutionary Council. He served as ambassador to several countries, including Spain, Portugal, Mexico, and Brazil. He was assistant undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and deputy minister of foreign affairs and of information. Soboh was a member of the Palestinian delegation to various UN General Assembly sessions and other international summits. He has authored several publications and articles in Spanish and Portuguese.
