A Palestinian poet and short story writer, he was self-taught man, Born in Saffouria near Nazareth, he worked all his life as a teacher, and began his poetic career late. Taha Muhammad Ali published his first collection, The Fourth and Ten Additional Poems (1983), his second book of poetry is Tricking the Murderers (1989), and his third collection Fire in the Convent Garden.
