Avivit Hai worked as a people-to-people project director at the Economic Cooperation Foundation (Tel Aviv) from 1998-2001, and wrote her MA thesis on the relevance of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. They are currently researching a book on Israeli-Palestinian people-to-people activities during the 1990s.
