Stav Shaffir is one of the leaders of the Israeli social protest movement that began in the summer of 2011 and one of its most articulate spokespeople. She placed ninth on the Labor Party’s Knesset list in party primaries held in November 2012 and was elected to the Knesset in January 2013.
