and Prof. Yehiam Freyer (Weizmann Inst. Of Science), Col. (Ret.)

Evacuation of the Gaza Strip, except for the Dugit, Eli Sina and
Nisanit settlements in the northern edge; evacuation of 40 small
settlements, with 25-30,000 settlers; support for a barrier to
protect Jerusalem; retention of the Jordan rift area until the
permanent border negotiations are completed.
2) "The Council for Peace & Security" - An organization
supported by over l,000 retired senior security officials and
academics in related fields.
Evacuation of the entire Gaza Strip; evacuation of 40-50
settlements; the establishment of a Palestinian state in the areas
that will be evacuated; a repositioning of Israeli forces in
northern Samaria, Mr. Hebron, Bethlehem and Ramallah.The Jordan
Rift, the Etzion Bloc, the Ariel area, Hebron and Kiryat Arbah will
remain under Israeli control. The proposal makes no reference to
Jerusalem.
3) MK Michael Eitan (Likud)
A security fence will surround Area A (under Palestinian security
control according to Oslo), and a second security fence (temporary)
will be established along the Green Line. The B & C areas will
be separated from the A area, and from the State of Israel.
Palestinian areas will be established in Nablus (Shechem),
Ramallah, Hebron, Jericho and Bethlehem, within which the
Palestinians will be able to move freely; the movement of
Palestinians into B area will be under Israeli supervision.
4) MK Roman Bronfman - Leader of the left Russian Democratic
Choice party.
The evacuation of the entire Gaza Strip and the removal of 45
settlements, concentrating settlements in big blocs and annexating
them to Israel. In return, a similar amount of territory (about l0
percent) will be exchanged with the Palestinians.
5) The Peace Coalition - Led by Labor doves, leaders of
Meretz, Peace Now and the kibbutz movement.
The resumption negotiations based on the Clinton Guidelines of
December 2000 ( return to the 1967 border with rectifications), and
parallel unilateral steps: the evacuation of all settlements in the
Gaza Strip, and those in the heart of the Palestinian population in
the West Bank.
6) MK Dan Meridor (Center Party)
Unilateral separation, primarily for demographic reasons, but has
no map. A concentration of the settlements into blocs, but doesn't
say if they will be annexed by Israel.
7) MK Chaim Ramon (Labor Party)
The evacuation of small settlements, and the concentration of
settlements into blocs. The new border will be drawn between the
settlement blocs and the PA.
8) President Moshe Katzav
Calls for the establishment of a security fence.
